Technology upgrade for Varsity Football Concession Stand Serving, Fall 2012!
Band Parents/Guardians, family members and students! Now you will be able to sign up to serve in the concession stand this fall via signupgenius.com. Once you click on the link below, you can sign-up to serve in set up, away side, home side, hamburger stand and clean up. There is even a spot where High School Band students can and will sign up to each work 1 game during 3rd Quarter. You will be able to see who else is serving, swap dates if your plans change and more all on your computer! Click on the hotdog image on the left to sign-up! Annie Get Your Gun, All School Musical a BIG Success!
Congratulations to all Bethany High School Band students who participated in the Pit Orchestra for Annie Get Your Gun. The students worked hard to learn their music, put in a lot of extra time after school at rehearsals and performances. Their hard work certainly paid off with 4 wonderful performances! Way to go Bronchos!
State Solo/Ensemble Festival 2012
On April 17, 2012, Bethany High School Band students competed at the State Solo/Ensemble Festival at Oklahoma State University. Emily earned an Excellent rating; Connor and Jennah (x2!) earned Supeior ratings. Congratulations to all three students on their wonderful performances!
Congratulations Bethany High School Band!
Congratulations to all Bethany High School Band members on their performance at District Large Group this past Thursday, March 1 in Edmond. Students earned a composite Superior I rating on stage and have qualified for State Large Group in Ada at the end of March. Way to go Band! Keep working hard!
High School Solo/Ensemble Festival
Congratulations to all high school band students who participated in solo/ensemble festival this year. Students who earned Excellent Ratings were Edson, Laura, Corissa, Sara, Emily, Krystin and Faith. Students who earned Superior ratings were Connor, Emily and Jennah. These three students will be competing at State Solo/Ensemble Festival on April 17, 2012 at Oklahoma State University! Congratulations!

Winter Concert Success

8th Grade to perform with Bethany's Own Marching Band
The 8th grade BMS Band will be performing with Bethany's Own Marching Band this Friday, October 7 at the varsity football game against Tulsa Noah. 8th grade students will wear their Bethany Band t-shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes. Congratulations Bethany's Own Marching Band!
Bethany's Own Marching Band competed in the Konowa Band Day Festival last weekend and placed 1st in their division for field competition! Way to go band! At the Pauls Valley Marching Festival (9/24) the band placed 2nd in field and parade competition. The band also received outstanding drumline in both parade and field competition as well as outstanding auxiliary in parade competition. Congratulations BHS Band!

6th Grade Instrument Fair
This fair is for all current 6th grade band members and their parent/guardians. Students will have the opportunity to try out the instrument(s) they are interested in playing in band this year!
Bethany H.S. Band Room
5:30-7:00pm (Come at anytime during this time frame. It will, most likely, take about 30-45 minutes for your student to try out the instruments he/she is interested in!)

Band Camp 2011
After doing a great job of marching in the July 4th City of Bethany Parade, students were eager and ready to get back to marching during Band Camp in August! Students worked very hard during camp, focusing on marching fundamentals, pre-game routine and learning music for their 2011 halftime show! We're off to a great year! Keep up the great work, Bronchos!

Enjoying a Taste of Bethany at Swadley's Bar-B-Q.
On Friday, June 10 the News 9 Road Trip crew including Kelly Ogle and Amanda Taylor stopped by Swadley's Bar-B-Q in Bethany to meet News 9 viewers and enjoy a delicious lunch. Bethany's Own Marching Band surprised Kelly and Amanda with a performance outside of the restaurant. The band also played for Gary England and had the opportunity to take a photo with him!
Great job, Band! We are proud of you! You represented the community of Bethany with energy, pride and spirit!
